ETHICS, LIFESTYLES AND SUSTAINABILITY
Hi there! Welcome to my website!
My passion is research and analytics and I currently work as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Sociological Research, University of Geneva, Switzerland. My areas of expertise are sustainable fashion consumption and ethics of sustainability. I hold a double PhD (2014) in political theory (LUISS Guido Carli, Rome) and political science (ULB, Brussels). Previously, I also worked at Boston University, New York University, MIT, and University Milan-Bicocca, as well as at the United Nations Division for Sustainable Development and at UNESCO Liaison Office in New York.
I am interested in practical and theoretical aspects of the global transformation towards sustainability. My applied research explores sustainable consumption practices in the area of fashion and apparel. Another project I am working on concerns the idea of formulating limits to consumption as framed by debates on de-growth, sufficiency, consumption corridors and limitarianism.
I am a founder and coordinator of the Working Group on Sustainable Fashion Consumption: www.sustainablefashionconsumption.org and a member of SCORAI (Sustainable Consumption Research and Action Initiative), Global Research Forum on Sustainable Production and Consumption networks and of the Tellus Institute.
